On a previous post I've post a repair on a MacBook Pro A1278 video output. Find it here: https://davidegironi.blogspot.com/2025/02/macbook-pro-a1278-video-issue-repair.html
Well... believe me or not, the day after I post it, it does not work again.
So I've to open it again and check it.
This time I've decide to replace that component.
That is a common mode choke coil on the CLK+ and CLK- line of the LVDS of the display. Which makes sense on the behavior I've notice.
I've ordered a few DLP11SN900HL2L.
De-soldering mine I've notice mine have also a pin damaged.
So I solder the new one and It works.
Finger-crossed, now this Mac video should be called: repaired.
